Last night we moored up near the Crown, arriving back later than expected due to the fiasco with the fellow breaking down with his boat and then falling in the water etc., This morning we got up early and started packing. I cleaned the fire and Lin did whatever Lin does. Between us we made TQ look good, especially with the new carpet - nice. Later I did the daily checks and started the engine and then moved the 200 yards or so to the winding hole, turned TQ around and reversed back for the pump out and diesel. Then we loaded up the car and after that was done we were instructed to reverse back to the pontoons and moor up next to Willow. (She looks nice in her new livery). Then we cleaned the outside and when we finished it was a quickish sprint down the M42 and M5.
Work tomorrow - roll on May.
This was moored behind us last night. Once it was somebodys pride and joy, alas, no longer.
